Job Overview
Novalink Health runs outpatient clinics across Boston and is looking for a calm, organized and caring Medical Assistant.
You will support doctors and nurses with patient intake, basic clinical tasks and scheduling to keep every clinic day on time.
Responsibilities
Greet patients, update their records and prepare exam rooms between visits.
Take vital signs and record each patient history accurately in the system.
Assist clinicians during exams, vaccinations and other routine procedures.
Schedule follow-up visits and send clear appointment reminders to patients.
Keep medical supplies stocked and all equipment clean, safe and ready.
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience as a medical assistant
Medical assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
Confident with electronic health record systems
Friendly and patient with people of all ages
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Nice To Have
Phlebotomy experience in a clinic setting
Spanish language skills for bilingual patients
Experience in a busy outpatient clinic
Knowledge of medical billing codes
